Barley-Vegetable Soup
Step 1 1/2 cup barley Step 2 Step 1 -- Wash the barley. Cut the carrot and onion any way you want to. Place barley, water, broth mix, onion,carrot, thyme, bay leaf, and pepper in a pot and boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour or until barley is tender. Step 2 -- Slice carrots and zucchini and add them to the pot. Wash and chop spinach. Add spinach and peas to the pot a few minutes before serving. VEGAN |
