Leisure & Recreation

Exercise doesn't always have to be about standard exercise as we know it (such as weight training, aerobic classes, cardio equipment, etc.). It should be fun. Cross training helps to make it fun. However, why not fit some fun activities into your schedule that you wouldn't normally think of as exercise.

It is a great way to have fun with friends and family. Below, I am going to list just a few activities you might want to consider. Hopefully, it will serve as a springboard of ideas for you. You don't have to spend hours at the gym to get or stay fit.

You could always plan a fitness vacation based around a cruise or a group tour somewhere you've been wanting to go, such as Hawaii or Europe.

There are unlimited possibilities to have an active lifestyle. The more fit you become through your fitness routine, the more you may consider adding some of these activities.
